Polish Music Experience - online
Polish Music Experience is a long-term artistic and educational project of the "Porta Musicae" Artistic Association. Its aim is to popularize Polish composers and artists in Poland and abroad.
Polish Music Experience - online is an artistic venture that is a response to the conditions that surround us. Many canceled concerts, in Poland and abroad, resulted in not only a sharp drop in income for artists and art professionals, but also in the inability to achieve their artistic goals.
Polish Music Experience - online consists of four concerts taking place on three Sundays of November and the first Saturday of December 2020 (8, 22 and 29 November and 5 November), broadcast live, every week at 6 p.m.
The following musicians were invited to perform the concerts: Maciej Zimka and Wiesław Ochwat (November 8), Bartosz Sałdan and Cracow Duo: Kalinowski & Szlezer (November 22), Gajusz Kęska and Messages Quartet (November 29), Trio Legend (December 5).
During the concerts, two world premieres of works created as part of the "Composing Commissions" program of the Institute of Music and Dance will be presented. Hype! Will premiere on November 22nd. for cello, piano and percussion by Tomasz J. Opałka, and on November 29 Particulae Lucis for string quartet by Andrzej Karałow.
